Calls for help Denver police received 50 calls from two homes where Paul Childs lived.

At 3501 Holly:

1999

2/23: Caller received threats on answering machine.

4/11: Shed break-in.

5/12: Call for medical services.

7/20: 911 hang-up.

7/24: Childs' mom says son was stealing and she made him return items. Childs gets mad and calls 911 . Mother asks police to send officer to explain why stealing is wrong and not to call 911 when he is mad.

8/20: Caller reports drunken female at nearby bus stop.

8/31: 911 hang-up.

9/9: Caller reports juveniles on bikes behind house arguing.

10/28: Caller is drunk and arguing with two sisters.

10/29: Caller says a woman keeps calling .

1 ½3: 911 hang-up.

12/23: 911 hang-up.

2000

1/6: 911 hang-up.

1/6: Caller says her "auntie" is fighting with another female.

1/17: Caller says her aunt and aunt's friend are arguing.

3/15: Caller reports shots fired.

6/24: Caller says her daughter was beaten up by another girl on her way to Smiley Middle School as three other girls watched.

10/12: Caller reports unwanted person at the house.

2001

5/1: Caller says he can hear a woman beating her children and screaming at them in the Childs' home and that she sounds drunk.

6/15: Gunshots in area.

6/24: Runaway child.

6/24: Second call for runaway child.

6/25: Caller says she has a special needs child she will not let outside.

6/25: Caller says her disabled son is missing. Calls later to say he returned.

7/30: Caller says husband of a friend is trying to force his way into home.

7/30: Caller says two men are in front of Childs' home drinking.

7/30: Caller says father's wife is trying to get him to come out and talk. Wife is "on drugs or something."

8/11: 911 hang-up. When dispatchers call back, woman says boyfriend has knife.

8/11: Caller says boyfriend has a knife and then says he has left.

8/21: Caller says boyfriend refuses to leave.

8/21: Caller says her special needs son has wandered off.

8/21: 911 hang-up.

At 5550 East Thrill:

9/10: Caller reports stolen car.

11/10: 911 hang-up.

2002

12/6: 911 hang-up.

2003

4/3: Call for medical services.

4/16: Call for medical services.

5/16: Call for a welfare check.

5/25: Call transferred to Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office.

6/6: Caller says he is on probation and has to wear an ankle monitor; says he can't stay at the house anymore.

6/17: Caller trying to find officer who took her son's bus pass. Then says her son found it and hangs up.

6/19: Suicidal person.

6/21: Caller says nephew is arguing and refuses to leave house.

6/21: Caller says aunt is causing problems and he wants a ride somewhere from police.

6/22: Caller says her special needs son ran away twice in the past 24 hours. Son has locked himself in the bathroom and is trying to run away. Caller wants police to take him to social services.

6/24: Caller says her special needs son ran away and tends to make up stories, such as his mother is dead or left him in Chicago.

6/24: Caller says her special needs brother ran away.

7/3: Run away.

7/3: Caller says her little brother is trying to run away and that her mother is holding him down in the front yard.

7/5: Caller says her 15-year-old brother has a 6-inch knife to her mother.
